This trip will take you up into the mountains to 800 m. above sea level where the air is fresh and clean.

At Pousada de Boa Vista, we will have the view of the city of Sao Tomé, if the weather permits.

From here, we may reach the waterfall of S. Nicolau by foot through the secondary rain forest in 45 minutes.

By the waterfall we will drink a cup of coffee with a local sweet.

Then, we will descend to the coffee plantation of Monte Café, where we will see the colonial buildings of what was once the biggest and most prosperous coffee plantation of Sao Tomé.

Coffee of high quality was exported to the whole world from here.

Finally, we will testimony the process of treatment of coffee in the traditional and modern way, before we return to city
